Job Objective (Purpose of the position): Under general supervision, but following established policies and procedures, provide a variety of customer service functions including processing savings accounts, checking accounts, loan transactions, cashing checks, and selling money orders and cashier’s checks.  Responsible for balancing each day’s transactions and verifying cash totals. Promote bank products and specials and refer customer for additional bank products to meet their financial needs

Essential Job Functions (Functions essential to attaining job objectives):
1.    Greet customers in a courteous, professional manner while providing prompt, efficient accurate service in processing transactions.
2.    Receives account deposits and loan payments.  Verify amounts, examine checks for endorsement and negotiability, collect appropriate fees and process transactions.
3.    Cash checks and process account withdrawal requests after verifying signatures and determining negotiability and availability.
4.    Take application for Savings Bonds, issue cashier’s checks, money orders and traveler’s checks.
5.    Effective operation of teller and bank software.
6.    Promote and refer customers for additional banking products to meet their financial needs
7.    Comply with Bank Policy and Procedures for security & operations.

General Description (A descriptive account of how this job is done to someone who have never done it): The major responsibility of someone in this position (about 70 of one’s time) is spent performing customer related duties.  About 20% of one’s time is devoted to posting transactions.  About 10% of one’s time is devoted to balancing.  The majority of the time (about 60%) is spent standing, 20 % of the time is spent sitting and 10% walking.   Must lift bulk coin (up to 30 lbs.) and cash drawer (up to 15 lbs.).

Job Objective (Purpose of the Position):
The Marketing Assistant will perform duties with supervision from the Marketing Director. The Marketing Assistant will assist the marketing director in completing projects, tracking, daily tasks, research, communicating with branches, media and sponsors, and miscellaneous projects as assigned. Results are expected to be consistent, accurate and on time.

Essential Job Functions (Function essential to attaining job objectives):
1. Execute reports (daily, weekly and monthly) created by the marketing director that are both accurate and complete. 
2. Receive and organize community sponsorships from the branches, and maintain communication with accounting and compliance (for CRA).
3. Maintaining communications with the Retail, Commercial, Mortgage and Investment Groups throughout promotions to insure information submitted is accurate, complete and on time for reporting.
4. Conducting market research under the direction of the marketing director for projects requiring market comparisons.
5. Rate submissions weekly to the requesting media sources.
6. Assisting with Marketing-Related Projects (i.e. new products, website, etc.)
7. Misc. projects as assigned.

Job Objective (Purpose of the Position):
Responsible for management and coordination of marketing for the Bank. Develops and implements integrated Marketing strategies which assist the Bank in achieving their goals and profit objectives which includes print and radio advertising, direct mail, special events, campaigns, branding and promotional materials. Develops objectives for marketing projects, supervises production, design phases of project and oversees marketing budget.  Monitors and coordinates updates to the existing Internet site. Reviews advertising copy for adherence to compliance standards and ensures there are no potential compliance issues. Creates and designs bulk of advertising products. Manages projects with outside agencies as well as has creative direction and produces in-house graphics. Negotiates contracts with media, printers and other outside vendors with the direction of Executive Management.

1. Assist in the development of the annual marketing plan and budget in accordance with the Banks’s Strategic Plan.

2. Works closely with outside agencies to develop, update and maintain marketing and public relations materials including, but not limited to the Bank photo library, Web site updates and maintenance.

3. Design and implement marketing and communications strategies in support of Business Development, Community Reinvestment, corporate and individual donor communications, direct mail campaigns, events and other fundraising related initiatives.

4. Manages organizational graphic standards to ensure consistency; including trademarks applications, monitoring the use of, protecting and renewing as needed; and monitoring the use of logo compliance standards.

5. Communications-Newsletter creation, design, writing and distribution, while maintaining brand consistency and awareness through identification of target audiences and key messages in order to meet organization objectives.

6. Serve as communication liaison for the IR Investor Relations area.  Develops shareholder communication and presentation materials including Presidents Letter, Message from the President, IR presentation booklets, press releases and filings.

7. Coordinates public speaking/community outreach activities to promote the organization. Represents the Bank at selected job fairs, general exhibits, displays and trade shows.

8. Attends committee, task force and or management meetings as necessary.  Committee assignments include Marketing Committee , Compliance, Community Reinvestment and IS Steering Committee.

9. Authorized user of SNL Financial, SNL IR, Fiserv Banc Intelligence and Sage CRM products.  System Administrator for Sage CRM.  Provides data mining support to Executive Management, Retail Branch Managers and Business Development personnel.

10. Responsible for the ongoing maintenance of customer marketing collateral material, such as brochures, sales tools and merchandising materials for all Bank products.

11. Conducts or obtains market research and analysis to support marketing efforts, or distributes this responsibility as deemed appropriate.

12. Develop, distribute and analyze periodic surveys of select groups (closed accounts, new accounts, etc.) to measure opinions and communication effectiveness. Gather and analyze competitive information to determine impact on Bank services. Use results of data to measure potential demand for new products and use of competitive services.

13. Marketing Visuals-Ad designs, ad re-designs, rate flier creation, loan officer fliers and internal/external promotional designs and any other marketing visual designs and concepts.

Non-Essential Functions (Marginal tasks performed by incumbent of this position):
1. Additional Graphic Design Work-Creating signs, fliers and advertising. This also includes maintenance of brochures, marketing materials, applications and any other maintenance that is required.

2. Training & Committees- Video recording, PowerPoint presentations, Orientation committee member, Web site (update) committee member, and any future committees that require the help of communications.

3. Presents progress reports and periodic updates on current marketing activities.
