John D. Yurchison joins Cortland Banks as Vice President, Commercial Banking

CANFIELD – (10/23/13) Cortland Banks is pleased to announce the recent addition of John D. Yurchison as Vice President, Commercial Banking. With more than 27 years of banking experience, John is an experienced commercial loan officer who has been recognized for organizing and managing complex C&I and commercial investment real estate relationships. John’s specialties include SBA lending, origination, structuring and servicing.
A graduate of Youngstown State University and Williamson School of Business, John most recently was Vice President of Commercial Lending with First Place Bank in Youngstown for the past five years, where he received numerous accolades. A former senior credit analyst, portfolio manager and relationship manager, John has actively been involved in the entire banking process providing him with industry knowledge and strength.
A native of Mahoning County, John is a graduate of Boardman High School, and currently resides in Canfield. He will be based out of the Seville Drive location in Canfield, covering Mahoning County with extension into Trumbull County.
John joins Senior Vice President and Chief Lending Officer Stan Feret and his Commercial Lending Team comprised of Nick Berardino, Stan Magielski, Jerome Smith, Carrie Stackhouse and David Kovacs.
