Cortland Banks recently announced the hiring of Nicole Whitsel as a Risk Manager for Cortland Banks. Nicole is a certified financial services auditor. She has served seven years in public accounting, of which the previous five she has worked exclusively on financial institutions with Crowe Horwath, in Cleveland. Nicole has been with Cortland Banks since October 1, 2009.
Nicole and her husband, Kristopher currently reside in McDonald, with their son Christian. Nicole is a lifelong-resident of the Mahoning Valley, a graduate of Bristol High School and received a B.S.B.A. in accounting from Youngstown State University and an M.B.A. from Youngstown State University.
